You can't please all of the people

My agent warned me that no matter how good others may think your book is, it will never be everyone's cup of tea. And of course this is true. Many's a time I've been disappointed with a novel that everyone else raves about. And have delighted in a read that no one else seems to like. Thank goodness we're all different.

So, once again, I brace myself for the tough reviews.

I didn't expect one quite so quickly though.

Our little girl has strong opinions, and in this case, the cover was lacking monkeys. Monkeys are her favourite.

Monkeys or not, here's hoping the reviews get better from here on in.
